About Pelissero

“Our agricultural DNA has always been firmly rooted in the timeless traditions of the Langhe farmer (...) Barbaresco is inseparable from the Nebbiolo variety that more than any other defines the history of our hills, known as the ‘king’, Nebbiolo. We are children of this land and these vines". - Pelissero

Located in Treiso, in the heart of the Barbaresco region - one of the first Italian DOCGs, the Pelissero family’s spirit of continuous improvement, in the vineyard and the cellar, coupled with their passion, commitment and innovation always remain constant. These elements are joined today by the family’s pride in being third-generation vine growers. Its philosophy has not changed since 1957: primarily cultivating native varieties, in particular Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto, which make up 85 percent of the Pelissero production. All the grapes used come from the 42 hectares (104 acres) that the family owns and manages. In collaboration with the best local consultants, the Pelissero family follows the entire production cycle, from pruning the vines to marketing the 250,000 bottles produced each year.
